General information

Sharing your data, aka Never Gonna Give You Up

Under no circumstances is your data ever sold or rented to a third party. Some information is shared with third parties in order to provide or improve services. For example, after entering your email address in a sign up form your data will be shared with Convertkit in order to send emails to you.

You can request a copy of the information I hold about you anytime you want. If you would like a copy of your deets, please contact me. You also have the right to be forgotten, so you can contact me to request the data I hold be destroyed (possibly with fire).

General enquiries:

If you send me a message via the contact form on my website, I collect your name and email address. This is then stored within Squarespace and Gmail.

I use this basic personal data in to contact you regarding your enquiry. Your information will not be added or subscribed to any lists or services.

Email subscribers:

I collect your name and email address when you opt in to my email list. This data is held in Convertkit.

I use this information to send emails, namely weekly Sunday letters. I will also send occasional additional emails to let you know new resources, services, products, and offerings.

Site users:

I may collect your IP address and information regarding your location and pages accessed. This data is collected and stored in Squarespace. This information is not connected to your name although it is possible for people smarter than me to connect IP addresses with personal information. If you're worried about that probably look into a VPN.

This allows me to view my web traffic and be constantly amazed at people from so many different countries looking at words I've written. It also lets me see which content is popular. This analysis is about general trends rather than you as an individual.

Leaving comments:

When you leave a comment your name and email will be collected. If you choose to leave your website and/or social media name those will be collected as well. Your name and website will be visible to other visitors but your email is only visible to me.
